Privacy Policy

Printhuis is a webshop for premium poster prints, registered in the Netherlands. We are the data controller for the personal data we process.

We collect the following data when you place an order:

• Name and email address
• Shipping address
• Phone number (optional)
• Payment details (processed securely by Stripe)

When you visit our website, we collect anonymized, aggregate analytics data. This data cannot be used to identify individual visitors. No tracking cookies are placed on your device.

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• Processing and delivering your order
• Sending order confirmations and shipping updates
• Providing customer support
• Improving our website and services through anonymized analytics
• Anonymized conversion measurement for advertising optimization
• Complying with legal obligations

We process your data based on:

• Contract performance: to fulfil your order
• Legal obligation: tax and accounting requirements
• Legitimate interest: improving our services, preventing fraud, and anonymized analytics

We share your data only with parties necessary to fulfil your order:

• Stripe - for secure payment processing
• Our print and fulfilment partner - to produce and ship your order
• Shipping carriers - to deliver your order

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use the following cookieless analytics and conversion tracking tools. None of these tools place cookies on your device or track you across other websites.

• Cloudflare Web Analytics - collects aggregate, anonymized page view statistics. No personal data is collected or stored. No cookies are set.
• Google Analytics 4 - configured in privacy-friendly mode with all advertising features disabled, IP anonymization enabled, and analytics storage denied (cookieless). Data retention is set to the minimum of 2 months. No profiling or cross-site tracking takes place.
• Anonymized conversion tracking - we use cookieless conversion pings to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. These pings do not contain personal data and do not set cookies.
• Server-side conversion tracking - when you complete an order, we send a hashed (anonymized) conversion event to advertising platforms (Pinterest) via server-side APIs. The data sent is limited to hashed order and contact details and cannot be used to identify you on other websites.

Because none of these tools place cookies or track individual visitors, no cookie consent banner is required under Dutch telecommunications law (Telecommunicatiewet article 11.7a).

We retain your order data for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax legislation.

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized. Google Analytics data is automatically deleted after 2 months.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or theft.

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (SSL/TLS).
