1. Who we are and how these terms apply

Printhuis is a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands, trading as Printhuis, at Nieuwe Ginnekenstraat 1A, Breda, Netherlands (KvK 86363425, VAT NL004234167B87). These Terms of Service form the agreement between you and Printhuis when you buy from printhuis.com. The agreement is formed when you check the box at checkout confirming that you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to order. We ship only to addresses in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. We do not ship to PO Boxes for framed posters or canvases, to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses, or to US territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa or the Northern Mariana Islands.

3. Products

Every print is made to order. Colors and paper texture may differ slightly from what you see on screen because of monitor settings and print processes. Sizes are stated in inches. Frames and canvas construction are described on each product page.

Our designs are created in our studio using digital tools, including AI-assisted image generation, and are curated and edited by hand.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax. Where we are required to collect sales tax, it is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Amazon Pay and Link through our payment processor Stripe. Your payment method is authorized when you place the order. If a price is obviously wrong because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Orders

You will receive an order confirmation by email. You can cancel for a full refund until production starts, which is normally within 2 hours of ordering — email us with your order number as soon as possible. We may refuse or cancel an order that looks fraudulent or that we cannot fulfil, in which case you will not be charged or will be refunded in full.

6. Shipping

Orders are printed in the United States and typically ship in 2–4 business days, arriving 3–7 business days after you order. Details, exclusions and what happens if we run late are in our Shipping Policy. If we cannot ship by the date we promised, we will tell you the new date and you may cancel for a full refund.

7. Guarantee and refunds

Because every print is made to order, we do not accept returns of undamaged items and there is no change-of-mind return. Instead every order is covered by our 30-Day Reprint-or-Refund Guarantee: if your print arrives damaged, misprinted, wrong or not as expected, email us a photo and your order number within 30 days of delivery and we reprint it free or refund you. You never have to send anything back.

8. Intellectual property

Everything on this site — designs, images, text, code — belongs to Printhuis or its licensors. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial shopping. Buying a print gives you the physical print, not the right to reproduce the design. If you submit a review, photo or other content, you give Printhuis a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display it on our site and in our marketing, and you confirm you have the right to share it.

9. Reviews and user content

Reviews must be truthful and based on your own experience with a product you bought. We never pay for reviews or make any incentive depend on what you write. We may remove content that is offensive, unlawful, off-topic or that we believe is not genuine.

10. Prohibited uses

You may not use the site to break the law, to interfere with its operation, to scrape or copy content at scale, to place orders with payment methods you are not allowed to use, or to impersonate someone else.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and our products are provided "as is" apart from the guarantee above, and our total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of your state of residence, including for fraud, gross negligence or personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes may be brought before the competent court in Breda, Netherlands. Nothing in this section limits the consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your state of residence, including the right to bring a claim in your local court where the law gives you that right. Before going to court, please email us — we resolve almost everything within a few days.

13. Changes, severability and contact

We may update these terms; the version that applies to your order is the one you accepted at checkout (we record its date with your order). If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Contact us at [email protected].
